The Houston Texans’ pre-season home opener was on Saturday evening against the New Orleans Saints at Reliant Stadium. Before the National Anthem, they have folks come out on the field with this giant Texas flag and we stand and sing “Texas, Our Texas.”
The Texans lost the game pretty badly, but I’m so very glad that football season is here again!

I know what you mean about football season starting. Peace washed over me just hearing Al Michaels’ voice last Sunday evening. Ha! Now…..what will I do with my wayward secret husband, Brett…..?
