New Beginnings

June 17I started the liquid diet today. These are the goodies I got at my start up class — powdered mix for the shakes, a water bottle and a shaker cup. I had a strawberry shake this morning, chocolate with fiber in the afternoon, cream of chicken soup for dinner (that one was a struggle — ick), and I’m going to have chocolate pudding before bed. I’ll stay on this phase of the plan, called New Beginnings, until my BMI reaches 25 or my average weight loss drops below 2 lbs. per week over a 4-week period. I know it sounds miserable to most people — 800 calories and 40g carbohydrates per day, and having to drink enough water to float a battleship — but I’m really excited about this!

Hey girl! You go for it! Keep us all posted on how you’re doing. Just make sure all that weight you lose doesn’t land on me! 🙂

Nope, so far so good. It’s not the tastiest stuff ever, but I’m sure I can do it for a couple of months.
