On December 4th, it snowed in Houston. This snowfall set a record for the earliest snowfall ever in Houston. It has snowed here only 33 times in recorded history, and 3 of them have been since Peter was born. While there was no real accumulation downtown, we got around an inch at our house. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, the snow had turned to rain (isn’t that in a Dan Fogelberg song?) and much of it had melted. But not before the boys got in a snowball fight with their grandparents!
The top photo is a picture of the Christmas tree at Houston City Hall, which is directly across the street from the building where I work. I took this photo at lunch time. I think the tree was scheduled to be lit that night, but they had to reschedule it, needless to say.
The bottom photo is the snowball fight in progress.

Ah, snow. It’s fun stuff.
Everyone must get in a snowball fight sometime in their lives. It’s a requirement.
